Carlsberg Malawi is a beverage company situated in Makata. Besides the production of a different range of soft drinks they also have a distillery and a brewery.

Lately they have bought a StirLIN-1 Compact system which can produce at least 10 liter per hour of liquid nitrogen at a purity of 99%.

One drop of liquid nitrogen will rapidly expand into the headspace of a plastic bottle before sealing. The resulting pressure adds strength to thin walled bottles and reduces oxygen content in the headspace.
