La Honda, Venezuela

Centro de Inseminación Artificial “La Honda” is one of the biggest semen banks for artificial insemination situated in Venezuela.

The center is based in San Cristóbal, Tachira State, South-West of Venezuela.

They bought a StirLIN-2 liquid nitrogen system which produces up to 21 liter of LN₂ per hour.
The liquid nitrogen produced is used to store semen for artificial insemination. This system was the first one sold in Venezuela only for biostorage.
